Our sourcing network covers a wide range of coloured gemstones including emeralds (Colombian, Zambian), spinels (Myanmar, Tanzania), tourmalines (Brazil, Mozambique, Afghanistan), garnets (tsavorite, rhodolite, spessartine), alexandrite, tanzanite, and aquamarine. If it is a commercially available coloured gemstone, we can likely source it.

How long does custom sourcing typically take?

Timeline depends on the rarity of the stone and your specifications. Common coloured gemstones in standard sizes can often be sourced within 1–2 weeks. Rare or specific stones — such as untreated Padparadscha above 2 carats or fine Burmese spinel — may require 4–8 weeks. We provide regular progress updates throughout the sourcing process.

Can you source untreated or unheated gemstones?

Yes. We have established relationships with miners and rough dealers who supply documented untreated material. Untreated stones command premium pricing and may have longer lead times, but we can source them with appropriate certification from an LMHC-member laboratory to verify treatment status.

Do you provide certificates with sourced stones?

We provide our own detailed specification documentation with every order. For stones above 1 carat or when specifically requested, we arrange certification from internationally recognised LMHC-member laboratories — including GIA, GRS, GIT, and AIGS. The right lab depends on stone type, origin, and end-market — we'll recommend the most appropriate option at the inquiry stage. Certification costs are quoted separately.
